Inspirations

A two-day children’s workshop, “Inspirations”, for ages 9-14 years on June 16 & 17, 2025, from 1-4pm. Those attending the workshop will learn about architect Frank Lloyd Wright, Fallingwater and the artwork in the “Spirit of Place” exhibit hanging in the museum. Artists and artwork are and can be inspired by simple, complicated and funny moments. In this workshop we will explore and learn about the inspirations of Frank Lloyd Wright, Ron Donoughe and various artists exhibiting in the museum. We will explore Wright’s inspirations while creating original drawings and paintings of our own. Through our exploration and experimentation students will be able to take-home original artwork and have a better understanding of how inspiration can come from anywhere and affect our artwork. This is a wonderful opportunity to explore the world around us and learn how to communicate with art. Registration is required for this workshop.
