SAMA offers Lunch a l’Art programs throughout the year at its Altoona, Johnstown, and Ligonier Valley facilities. The programs include a luncheon and special presentation or gallery tour with an exhibiting artist or guest lecturer. Lunch a l’Art programs are offered to encourage a greater understanding of various art forms and movements, as well as foster a deeper appreciation for the exhibitions presented by the Museum.

In 2013, SAMA introduced a new program, Conversations with the Curator: A Lecture-and-Lunch Series for Art Lovers and Collectors. The series will take place on a quarterly basis at the Loretto museum. The program begins at 12:15 p.m. with a 45-minute talk by SAMA Curator for the Visual Arts, Dr. Scott Dimond, as well as a box lunch. An informal Q&A period will follow.
