The Rezk Collection of Tibetan and Nepalese Art

Consisting of 50 thangkas (scroll paintings), 14 bronzes, two woodblock prints, and 24 religious and ceremonial objects, the Rezk Collection spans some eight centuries of Tibetan and Nepalese art.  As such, it is an important regional resource that provides insight into the history, religion, and philosophy of the Far East.  With its emphasis on the esoteric Buddhism of Tibet, the Rezk Collection offers a rich fund of startling and wonderful imagery, including depictions of gods, saints, monsters, and demons.
